Information We Collect

Account Data

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely encrypted password. We also store your user ID and account creation date.

Habit Data

We collect and store your habit information including habit names, descriptions, goals, categories, and completion entries. This data is stored securely and is only accessible by you.

Usage Data

We collect app usage data including your theme preferences, language settings, and subscription status to provide you with a personalized experience.

Support & Feedback Data

When you submit bug reports or feature suggestions through the app, we collect the information you provide, including screenshots and device information, to help us improve the app.

AI Interaction Data

When you use AI features, we process your chat messages and voice commands temporarily to provide AI responses. Voice transcripts are deleted immediately after processing.

We use third-party services to help us operate our app, including cloud storage providers, payment processors, and AI service providers. These services have their own privacy policies and are required to protect your information. Third-Party AI Data Sharing

When you use AI features (AI Coach and Voice Commands), we share certain personal data with third-party AI service providers to provide these features. Specifically:

The personal data shared includes:

  • Habit names, descriptions, goals, categories, and entry dates
  • Entry notes and completion counts
  • Performance statistics (streaks, completion rates, patterns)
  • Chat messages and voice command transcriptions

We share this data with the following third-party AI providers:

DeepSeek API: Processes your chat messages and habit context to provide AI-powered coaching and habit management. Data is sent via encrypted API calls and is not stored by DeepSeek (stateless processing).

OpenAI Whisper API: Processes your voice recordings for speech-to-text transcription. Audio files are temporarily stored during transcription and deleted immediately after processing. Audio is not used for training.

This data sharing is necessary to provide AI-powered features. We do not share your email address, name, or account credentials with these AI providers.

By using AI features in Habini, you explicitly consent to this data sharing. You can opt out by disabling AI features in Settings. Note that disabling AI features will limit access to AI Coach and Voice Commands.

All data shared with third-party AI providers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. These providers comply with GDPR and SOC 2 Type II security standards.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only with service providers necessary to operate our app, and only as necessary to provide our services to you. This includes sharing personal data with third-party AI providers when you use AI features. How to Delete Your Account

To delete your account and all associated data, follow these steps:

  1. 1.Open the app and navigate to Settings, then go to the Account section
  2. 2.Below the Sign Out button, you will find a "Delete Account" option
  3. 3.When you select "Delete Account", your account will be marked for deletion with a 30-day grace period. During this period, you cannot use your account and cannot use the same email address to create a new account
  4. 4.After 30 days, all your data will be permanently deleted and you will be able to use the same email address again if you wish to create a new account

Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the 'Last Updated' date.
